ACTIVITIES

River Access -  All cabins have access to the deep swimming hole on the east side of Hwy 127 across from Neal's Lodges. River access is also available on the west side of the Frio River downriver from Hwy 127 below Cabins 31, 32, 33, 36, 45 ,46, and 47 and on the east side of the Frio River below Cabins 62A and 62B. 

"Tube Shack"  - Parking is available on the east side of the Frio River and access is from 10:00 am until 7:30 pm.

          Tubes are available for $5.00 per day and should be returned by 7:30 pm.  If kept overnight, you will be charged for another day's rental. 

          Shuttles are available at a cost $3.00 (minimum of $12) if you bring your own tubes for drop off at the "Second Crossing" and $6.00 (minimum of $15) if you bring your own tubes for drop off at the "Third Crossing". 

          Tubes and shuttles are available at a cost of $7.00 per person (minimum of $14) for drop off at the "Second Crossing" and $9.00 per person (minimum of $18) for drop off at the "Third Crossing".  

           Shuttle hours are generally from 10 am to 5 pm daily but vary according to the level of the river and the average time of float trips.  A shorter trip driving up river on our private property is available for the same rate as the "Second Crossing." 

Hayrides - Buchanan Cabins has a tractor drawn wagon that takes you around the mountain by the river to enjoy watermelon, cookies and punch and marshmallows.  Available all year long with a minimum of 20.  $7 per person, ages 4 and up.  Call 830-591-9924 for reservation and information.

Neal's Dining Room - Neal's is open from 8:00 am until 9:00 pm during the summer season and during the weekends March through May and September through November.  Hearty breakfasts, daily specials and menu favorites such as chicken fried steak, fried chicken, Freddie's Nachos, fried pickles and onion rings, hamburgers and sandwiches are served cheerfully an promptly.  Neal's also caters picnics and barbecues.

House Pasture and Neal's have live music every weekend in the summer.  Gary P. Nunn, Emory Quinn, Luke Olsen, Zack Walther, Roger Creager, Rotel and the Hot Tomatoes to name a few have been at House Pasture in years past.  Calendar is/will be available on their websites: www.housepasture.com or www.joejimmys.com
