INNER TUBES & FLOAT TRIPSInner tubes and float trips are available at Buchanan Cabins "Tube Shack" on the river, just across the highway from the parking lot. Tubes are available for $5.00 per day. Tubes must be returned by 7:30 p.m. If kept overnight, you will be charged for another day's rental. A deposit (cash, keys, or credit card) is required on tubes rented by day guests. Note: Driver's licenses are no longer accepted as a deposit for tubes. Float trips are available at a cost of $2.00 per person for drop off at the "Second Crossing" and $4.00 per person for drop off at the "Third Crossing" for your float trip back to Buchanan Cabins. Shuttle hours are generally 10 am - 5 pm daily, but vary according to the level of the river and the average time of float trips. Parking is free for those that rent tubes and take the shuttle from Buchanan Cabins. We will be happy to hold your keys until you return. Note: Parking is always free to Buchanan Cabins guests. UMBRELLA SITE RENTALSBuchanan Cabins has a select number of umbrella sites for rent. These exclusive sites feature a 9 foot umbrella, one small table, and two riverside chairs. Site rental is on a per day basis and you are welcome to come and go as you please. Buchanan Cabins guests are NOT required to get an umbrella site to enjoy the river. Buchanan Cabins Guests: Site rentals are available to Buchanan Cabins and Neal's Lodges guests for $10 per day. Day Guests: Site rentals to day guests are available for $10 per day for 2 people. Additional guests are $4 per person. RIVER ACCESS Buchanan Cabins Guests: Full river access is available to all Buchanan Cabins guests. Day Guests: See Day Guest page. PARKING A river side parking lot is available at Buchanan Cabins. Buchanan Cabins Guests: Buchanan Cabins guests are free to park in the parking lot at any time for no charge. Day Guests: Day guests can park their vehicles for $2. Parking is free for day guests that rent tubes, take shuttles, or rent an umbrella site.
ADDITIONAL AMENITIES THROUGH NEAL’S LODGES INCLUDE:NEAL'S CAFEThe cafe is open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. during the summer season and on many of the weekends during the off season. Hearty breakfasts, daily specials and menu favorites such as chicken fried steak, fried chicken, steaks, barbecue and sandwiches are served cheerfully and promptly. Neal's Cafe also caters picnics and barbecues. NEAL'S GROCERY STOREThe store is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily during the summer season. The store is stocked with a wide variety of goods including groceries, picnic supplies, charcoal, firewood, swimwear, toys, T-shirts and caps. DANCE FLOORFun for families, located by the river - bring your own music. Every Saturday night, there's a disc jockey at the dance floor. Parking is limited so no cars are allowed. You are welcome to walk to the dance floor. |
